Course Content

Introduction to ACLS Course – Pre-Course Preparation
The Introduction to ACLS Course is designed to equip participants with the foundational knowledge and skills required to successfully complete the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) classroom course. This preparatory course ensures that students meet the pre-requirements set by the American Heart Association (AHA) and are adequately prepared for both the written exam and hands-on demonstration on the scheduled class date. Course Objectives: Review ACLS core concepts, including recognition of life-threatening cardiac conditions, basic airway management, and pharmacology. Understand the AHA guidelines for ACLS algorithms, including cardiac arrest, bradycardia, tachycardia, and post-cardiac arrest care. Prepare for ECG rhythm recognition and essential pharmacologic interventions. Develop familiarity with team dynamics and communication in resuscitation scenarios. Complete the mandatory ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work, as required by AHA, before attending the classroom session. Who Should Take This Course?
